Ukraine Has Now Destroyed Almost 100 of Russia's Top T-90 Tanks

Russia's state of the art T-90M main battle tank is proving no match and little protection against Ukrainian FPV drones. 

94 of the Russian armored vehicles have now been confirmed destroyed and the actual number may be higher. The tanks are vulnerable to drone strikes on the turret and in several other parts of their structure. Cope cages, reactive armor and other defenses have not proved effective against the drones or against heavy artillery fire. JL

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to destroy Russian T-90M Proryv main battle tanks. Russian occupation forces have lost at least 94 of the T-90M tanks since February 2022. At least four of them were trophied. The 225th Separate Assault Battalion demonstrated the use of FPV-drones against russian T-90M. It was destroyed near Chasiv Yar, where very difficult battles are taking place now. The drone operator hit the turret of the Russians' tank.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to destroy russian T-90M Proryv main battle tanks. Videos of both damaged and trophy vehicles of russian occupation forces have recently appeared. Thus, the Strike Drones Company unit has recently showed footage of russian occupation troop tank being hit by an FPV-drone.

 

The video shows the crew of russian T-90M tank stuck in a sinkhole. They were unable to leave, so russians decided to abandon the vehicle. The first FPV-drone tried to hit russian tankmen, but failed to reach the target. However, one of the occupiers received a shrapnel wound.

The second drone hit the tank's turret, causing it to catch fire. "Then we burned the tank to prevent the enemy from pulling it out," the unit commented on the damage to russian vehicle.

 

Earlier, warriors of the 225th Separate Assault Battalion demonstrated the use of FPV-drones against russian T-90M Proryv tank. As it is noted, it was destroyed near Chasiv Yar city, where very difficult battles are taking place now. The drone operator hit the turret of occupiers' tank.

Earlier the 225th Separate Assault Battalion described how the battalion's tank unit was able to trophy damaged russian T-90M Proryv tank. “The operation took four months, a lot of people and equipment were involved, but we managed to take the trophy away,” the military say.

According to the Oryx portal, russian occupation forces have lost at least 94 of their T-90M Proryv main battle tanks since February 2022. At least four of them were trophied.

Earlier Defense Express reported that the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine had showed the work of Ukrainian vampire heavy bomber drone.
