Soldiers of the 6th Regiment of the Special Operations of Ukraine have recaptured a village in Kursk Oblast. The defence forces' artillery units targeted the settlement. Later, the Special Operations Forces soldiers entered the village, recaptured it, and conducted a mop-up operation. Along with the Russian military, the village was also held by North Korean troops.

Ukrainian Special Forces Retake Kursk Village Held By Russians, North Koreans
Things have not been going well for Russian and North Korean units in Kursk over the past couple of weeks.
Their assaults have been turned back, the Ukrainians have counterattacked opportunistically and Russian casualties have been even heavier than usual, suggesting that Russian plans for reconquest of Kursk by Trump's inauguration are not going according to plan. JL
