Russian Forces "Now Beyond Peak Capabilities," Using All Its Reserves

New reports reveal that the Kremlin has now committed all of its reserves to the war in Ukraine and is thus 'beyond its peak capabilities' in terms of prosecuting its invasion. 

This confirms that Putin is hoping to add whatever territory he can by committing every resource he has to the Ukraine battle before he is pressured by Trump and the EU to negotiate as his military power begins to wane and his economy collapses. JL

Ukraine must now maximize Russia's losses as (the Kremlin) is "using all its reserves and for the next six months there will be no significant changes on the front line. Right now, Russian forces are already beyond the peak of their capabilities but will continue to use all resources to pressure our defense. Our main task now is to prevent systemic failures and ensure maximum destruction of Russian troops, even by abandoning certain areas of our territory. A war of attrition is exactly what this entails,"

Defense Express CEO, Serhiy Zgurets, noted that there will be no significant changes in Russia's actions on the front line in the next six months

He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"At least for the next six months, there will be no significant changes on the front line in terms of Russian actions. Right now, Russia, using all its reserves, is under the influence of its previous successes, trying to maximize the gains of earlier periods," Zgurets believes.

According to the director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, there is currently no reason to believe that Russia is ready for negotiations. The first quarter and half of 2025 are likely to resemble what happened in the middle of last year, as the pace of the Russian offensive is extraordinary considering the forces and resources used.

"Right now, Russian forces are already beyond the peak of their capabilities but will continue to use all resources to pressure our defense. Defense Express CEO added that Ukraine must now maximize Russia's losses, even if it requires significant efforts. With the support of Ukrainian partners, this could somewhat alter the situation on the battlefield.
