Ukraine Captures Russian Pokrovsk Attackers After Special Forces Blow Up Bunker

Russian assault troops who had taken shelter in an industrial building near Pokrovsk were discovered by Ukrainian drones and then given the opportunity to surrender through a different, loudspeaker-mounted Ukrainian drone. 

When the Russians refused the initial offer, Ukrainian special forces detonated explosives laid around the hideout. The surviving Russians then quickly surrendered. JL

In the industrial zone of Udachne, near Pokrovsk, Russian soldiers had taken shelter in a power substation near the mine administration building. Ukrainian UAV operators offered the enemy soldiers a chance to surrender, using a loudspeaker mounted on the drone. After the Russians refused, Ukrainian special forces infiltrated behind enemy lines, mined the building, and detonated it. Following the explosion, surviving Russian soldiers surrendered, raising a white flag.

The soldiers from the 144th Center of Special Operations Forces (SOF) blew up a building in the industrial zone where Russians were holed up and forced them to surrender.

The video of the operation was published by the press service of the SOF.

Prior to the attack, Ukrainian UAV operators offered the enemy soldiers a chance to surrender, using a loudspeaker mounted on the drone.

 

After the Russians refused, the Center’s 144th group infiltrated behind enemy lines, mined the building, and detonated it.

 

Following the explosion, surviving Russian soldiers surrendered, raising a white flag.

The soldiers then moved towards Ukrainian positions in two groups of four and five, where they were provided with first aid and evacuated.

OSINT analyst @MikiValbuena identified the location of the event in the industrial zone of Udachne, near Pokrovsk. The analyst shared this geolocation on X.

 

According to geolocation and video footage, the Russians had taken shelter in a local power substation near the mine administration.

Recently, Militarnyi reported that the Special Forces of the 3rd Separate Regiment had destroyed a Russian platoon during a raid on another industrial zone in the Donetsk sector.

The drones were initially used to detect and eliminate Russian forces in their shelters.

Later, military personnel joined the operation, with HMMWV armored vehicles armed with Browning heavy machine guns assisting in the raid.

The operation resulted in the capture of one Russian soldier, providing valuable intelligence on troop deployments.
