At Toretsk, Ukraine Decimates Combined Russian Armor, Motorbike Attack

Russian forces are experimenting with motorcycles as a means of attack, but so far, their various attempts have all met with the same result: death and destruction.

Having tried a massive motorcycle attack which was decimated a week, the Russians then tried combining troops on motorcycles attacking at the same time as troops in armored vehicles. The problem for the Russians continues to be that drones are faster, can see further and give Ukrainian forces the ability to prioritize targets from a distance without surrendering any effectiveness - or lethality. Militarnyi reports:

At Toretsk, the Russians combined an armored column and high-speed motorcycles during the attack, simultaneously sending them from different flanks. The Russian unit was first struck by attack drones, and artillery from several different defending units, then neutralized by Ukrainian infantry. Due to heavy losses in armored vehicles, the enemy is increasingly using more affordable vehicles.

The Knights of the Winter Campaign Brigade defeated a combined Russian assault in the Toretsk sector.

The 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade reported that the Russian command is constantly experimenting to break through in this area.

This time, the Russians decided to combine an armored column and high-speed motorcycles during the next attack, simultaneously sending them to attack from different flanks.

However, they did not succeed in sneaking through. Stuck under artillery fire, the groups began to be hit by drones one by one.

The Russian attack was repelled by several units from different brigades.

“Pilots of the 28th Brigade from the Spalakh airborne assault vehicle, Kurt & Company, R.V. of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion, as well as our friends from Phoenix, 93rd Kholodny Yar OMBR were working ,” the military reported.

The Ukrainian General Staff said that the enemy attacked once near Dachne in the Toretsk sector.

Toretsk is important for Ukraine because it allows it to keep Russian positions under fire control, protects the Konstantinovka-Kramatorsk agglomeration, and is a springboard for a potential offensive on Horlivka.

After the fall of Avdiivka and the subsequent advance of the Russians, the Ukrainian Armed Forces group defending Toretsk found itself in a difficult situation.

Russian troops actually posed a significant threat to the area, advancing to the north of it near Chasiv Yar and to the south in Ocheretyne. One of the main logistical arteries of the Ukrainian army, the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka highway, was threatened.

Due to heavy losses in armored vehicles, the enemy is increasingly using more affordable vehicles. In one area, the Russians also used vehicles with anti-drone protection to storm the positions of the Defense Forces.
