Ukraine Artillery Destroys 40 Car Russian Troop Train From Crimea To Kherson

The attack suggests Ukraine has increasingly accurate intelligence on Russian troop and resupply movements, especially from occupied Crimea and is using that knowledge to systematically degrade Russian offensive and defensive capabilities in the southern region. JL

The Odessa Journal and other sources report:

On the night of Friday to Saturday, a high-precision HIMARS strike destroyed a train of more than 40 wagons, which arrived from Crimea with manpower, equipment, and ammunition at the Brylivka railway station, Kherson region.” 80 personnel died, 200 injured. According to the intelligence data, all locomotive drivers and engineers of Russian Railways, who escorted the cargo, were killed.

The train arrived in the Kherson region from the occupied Crimea, said the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs.

Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region destroyed a railway train of more than 40 wagons with manpower, equipment and ammunition of the Russian invaders.

Also, according to intelligence, all the machinists and engineers of the Russian Railways company, who transported military cargo from the Crimea to the Kherson region, died. This is not the first case of the death of Russian Railways drivers in Ukraine. And not the last.

This was announced by Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko on the social network Facebook.

“On the night of Friday to Saturday, a high-precision HIMARS strike destroyed a train of more than 40 wagons, which arrived from Crimea with manpower, equipment, and ammunition at the Brilevka railway station, Kherson region,” Gerashchenko said.

According to him, as a result, the manpower of the occupiers “turned into coals, equipment into piles of scrap metal, and the BC flew into the air.”

“Each echelon with military equipment, personnel and ammunition is tracked in real-time from space, day and night. If your relatives work as machinists in Ukrainian Crimea or in the regions of the Russian Federation from which trains with ammunition are delivered to the territory of Ukraine, you should know that they are potential suicide bombers!” Gerashchenko said.

Update:

80 personnels died, 200 injured. According to the intelligence data, all locomotive drivers and engineers of Russian Railways, who escorted the cargo, were killed.
