Why Russia Remains Incapable Of Ukraine Advance Despite Material Advantages

Despite their reported superiority in troop strength and weaponry, the Russians have proved incapable - time and again - of making meaningful advances anywhere along the front line.

The primary reason is that the Ukrainian forces remain better led, more coordinated in use of drones, infantry and artillery, and are better trained. The Russians continue to suffer from the poor quality of their soldiers and officers as well as the indifference to casualties of their high command. JL

Militarnyi reports:

Ukrainian paratroopers of the 79th Air Assault Brigade destroyed Russian armored vehicles and infantry near Novomykhailivka in the Marinka, Donetsk region. This sector continues to be one of the hottest spots on the Russian-Ukrainian front. Russian assault operations take place almost every day. The Russians used MT-LB tracked tractors, which are used as armored personnel carriers to bring infantry to the front line. Ukrainian defenders used artillery and drones to shell the Russian convoy. Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed Russian armored vehicles and infantry near Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

Footage of the destruction of invaders was shown by the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military holding the line in this area said that invaders were “advancing in large numbers” in the area of Novomykhailivka village, which is located near Marinka.

This sector continues to be one of the hottest spots on the Russian-Ukrainian front. Russian assault operations take place almost every day.

But Ukrainian paratroopers successfully destroy Russian armored vehicles and infantry. On Friday, March 22, paratroopers showed a video of the enemy once again storming Ukrainian positions with armored vehicles and infantry.

Footage of the Ukrainian military shows the results of the destruction of several units of enemy armored vehicles and manpower.

“These spectacular footage shows everything that all Ukrainians like: Russian equipment burning and exploding, enemy infantry fussing and dying,” the 79th Air Assault Brigade emphasized.

The beginning of the video shows Ukrainian artillery shelling the Russian convoy and damage to the equipment.

According to the video, invaders used several MT-LB tracked tractors, which are used as armored personnel carriers to bring infantry to the front line.

To destroy enemy armored vehicles and infantry, Ukrainian defenders also used drones with ammunition.

Novomykhaylivka is located about 12 kilometers south of Marinka, which Russian forces have been trying to capture since 2014. Russian invaders now control the site of what used to be a village that no longer exists.
