Ukrainian Special Forces Retake Kursk Village Held By Russians, North Koreans
Things have not been going well for Russian and North Korean units in Kursk over the past couple of weeks.
Their assaults have been turned back, the Ukrainians have counterattacked opportunistically and Russian casualties have been even heavier than usual, suggesting that Russian plans for reconquest of Kursk by Trump's inauguration are not going according to plan. JL

Wow, that's significant news! The situation in Kursk seems to be shifting rapidly. It's interesting to see Ukrainian Special Forces taking back territory, especially with reports of mixed Russian and North Korean forces involved. The mention of heavier Russian casualties does paint a stark picture. Makes you wonder how sustainable their efforts there really are. I saw someone working on a simulation of the situation, getting really into the details. They were using some pretty advanced modeling and it looked like a crazy cattle 3d kind of battlefield. I hope the Ukrainians can continue to push back and regain control of the region! It will take months if not longer.
