Before They Reach Sumy, Ukraine "Annihilate" Russian Units Attempting Attack

Before they reach the border in attempts to cut off Ukraine's Kursk supply lines, Russian units are reportedly being 'annihilated' by Ukrainian forces using drones and artillery.

Ukrainian fire control has become so dominant that after initial attempts at armored and vehicular attacks that were destroyed, the Russians are now trying to infiltrate groups of 2 to 5 soldiers, but in the snow, even they can be tracked by drones. JL

Espreso Ukraine reports:

"The Russians cannot use military vehicles due to the terrain. Some time ago, their actions were more intense, involving columns of military equipment. However, border guards and the Armed Forces destroyed these columns. Instead, they are attempting to enter in small groups of 2-5 soldiers but the Armed Forces prevented the enemy from even securing a foothold as all of these groups attempting to infiltrate are being eliminated near the state border,"

The Border Guard Service, says that Russia is attempting to infiltrate Ukrainian territory toward the settlement of Novenkyi

He mentioned this during a broadcast on Espreso TV.

"As part of the operation conducted by Ukraine’s Defense Forces in the Kursk region, we are witnessing Russian attempts to break through our left flank to cut off logistical routes. Some time ago, these actions were more intense, even involving columns of military equipment. Russia attempted an offensive toward the village of Zhuravka. However, border guards and the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed these columns, preventing the enemy from approaching our border," Demchenko noted.

According to the spokesperson, new enemy attempts are now being observed to infiltrate Ukrainian territory, establish positions, and expand the combat zone toward Novenkyi.

"This village has already been practically destroyed. Currently, the enemy cannot use military vehicles due to the terrain. Instead, they are attempting to enter our territory in small groups of 2-5 soldiers. However, the measures employed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and border guards in this direction prevent the enemy from expanding the combat zone or even securing a foothold. In fact, all of these groups attempting to infiltrate are being eliminated near the state border," Demchenko emphasized.

Russian forces are trying to push into Ukraine’s Sumy region to cut off supply routes for the Ukrainian military heading toward Russia’s Kursk region.
