Ukraine Liberates Sukhetske, Eliminating Another Russian Dobropillia Pocket

In another victory of its campaign to eliminate the trapped Russian units near Dobropillia, north of Pokrovsk, Ukraine's 82nd Air Assault Brigade liberated Sukhetske, following on the success at Kucheriv Yar a few days ago.

This reveals that Russian forces in the Pokrovsk area are having trouble relieving their surrounded troops as well as defending the territory they currently hold. JL

The village of Sukhetske in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast has been liberated by units from the 82nd Bukovyna Separate Air Assault Brigade. Ukrainian troops engaged more than 60 Russian soldiers during the assault operation. Forty-four Russians have been killed, eight wounded and nine have surrendered. Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Kucheriv Yar
