Russian Dnipro Assault Annihilated In Less Than An Hour

Although the Russians focus in on Pokrovsk and, to a lesser extent, Huliaipole, they continue to mount attacks elsewhere in hopes of distracting Ukrainian foces.

Most of those, like this one in Dnipro, meet with predictably disastrous results. JL

Taras Safronov reports in Militarnyi:

The Russian command took advantage of the fog to send soldiers in five vehicles to storm Ukrainian positions. It took the Ukrainian military only one hour to destroy the invaders in the Dnipro region, near the village of Oleksiyivka. In the fall of 2025, Russian troops intensified their offensive in the eastern part of Dnipro region, trying to disrupt the supply lines of Ukrainian forces (but) the Russians are outnumbered, and lack the forces and means to launch a decisive offensive.

It took the Ukrainian military only one hour to destroy a platoon of invaders in the Dnipro region, near the village of Oleksiyivka.

The other day, the Russian command took advantage of the fog to send about 30 soldiers in five vehicles to storm Ukrainian positions.

Soldiers from the 214th Separate Assault Battalion, the 5th Separate Assault Brigade, the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade took part in repelling the attack.

The Russian convoy included trucks, cars, and buggies that moved under the cover of fog.

However, the Ukrainian military had the means to see the enemy through the fog.

Artillery and attack drones immediately opened fire on the invaders’ convoy, defeating the Russian assault group.

“We destroyed the invaders’ platoon in the Oleksandrivsk direction thanks to the coordinated actions of the units,” the military said.

In the fall of 2025, Russian troops intensified their offensive in the eastern part of Dnipro region, trying to disrupt the supply lines of Ukrainian forces.

According to DeepState analysts, the Russians already control several villages in the Dnipro region.

At the end of October, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, told journalists at a meeting with journalists that the situation in the Novopavlivka direction, where the administrative boundaries of three regions – Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Dnipro – converge, remains dynamic.

According to him, the area is large, and although the Russians are outnumbered, they lack the forces and means to launch a decisive offensive.
