DeepState reported the Ukrainian defenders' success on the Oleksandrivka front as confirmation of information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainska Pravda learned that the new offensive by Ukraine's defence forces on the Oleksandrivka front began in early May.
It is still too early to assess how successful it has been, but UP sources confirm the advance outlined by DeepState analysts.
The General Staff has not officially reported an operation by the Ukrainian forces on this section of the front.
On 29 May, the General Staff reported as of 16:00 that on the Oleksandrivka front, "the enemy has not conducted active offensive operations since the start of the day".
Meanwhile, in its report for the previous day, part of the territory on this section was marked on the map released by the General Staff as being under Ukrainian control, although just a few days earlier DeepState's map had marked these areas as occupied by Russian forces.
