Dmytro Shunlianskyi reports in Militarnyi:
Ukrainian Marines successfully landed on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region and is advancing deeper into Russian-occupied territory. "They (the Marines) are advancing, assaulting enemy positions and, accordingly, moving deeper into enemy territory toward positions we have designated. They rotated, established a foothold on the left bank, advanced, consolidated their positions, handed them over, and moved farther forward,”The Ukrainian Marine Corps has successfully landed in a settlement on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region and is advancing deeper into Russian-occupied territory.
Col. Alim Kerimov, chief of staff of the 34th Separate Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this in an interview with Radio Svoboda’s Crimea.Realities project.
“We have quite several positions on the left bank where rotations are carried out regularly. We are advancing throughout this entire island area and, generally speaking, we will be — let’s put it this way — in a certain settlement on the left bank,” Kerimov said.
He did not disclose the settlement’s name or how far the Ukrainian Marines had advanced. He only added that the operations were taking place along several axes, not just one.
“I would say that they are holding their lines and positions where they are, while at the same time advancing, assaulting enemy positions and, accordingly, moving deeper into enemy territory toward positions we have designated. In other words, they rotated, established a foothold on the left bank, advanced, consolidated their positions, handed them over, and moved farther forward,” he shared.
