This didnt take long. One aspect of the internet denominated world in which we live is that people can often find electronically-enabled companions who share their views. The US government has now announced DNA tests that confirm one of the individuals killed in a special forces raid in Pakistan was Osama Bid Laden. That, of course, has only stoked curiousity about who conducted the analysis and when the evidence will be made available to skeptical segments of the public. For those who doubt President Obama's nationality, it is not a great leap to question Bin Laden's death. They are joined by jihadists and anti-government conspiracy theorists, all of whom are present in abundance on the 'net this morning. Ben Feller and Matt Apuzzo report in HuffPost:
"Two Obama administration officials say DNA evidence has proven that Osama bin Laden is dead, with 99.9 percent confidence.
The officials did not immediately say where or how the testing was done but the test explains why President Barack Obama was confident to announce the death to the world Sunday night.
